These terms govern the use of this website and the engagements booked through it.

REQUESTING AN ENGAGEMENT

A booking made on this site is a request, not a confirmation. We review each request and reply to say whether we are taking it on. Nothing is owed until we have accepted.

FEES

The fee shown for a service depends on the category it is booked under, and is confirmed when we accept the request. The amount agreed at that moment is the amount payable; a later change to our published rates does not alter an engagement already accepted.

COMPLETION AND REFUNDS

When we accept an engagement we state the period within which it will be completed. If we do not complete it within that period, you are entitled to a refund of what you have paid. Where work has been partly delivered, we will agree a fair proportion with you rather than apply a formula.

CHANGING OR CANCELLING

Tell us as early as you can. We will move an engagement where we can. If we cancel, we say why and refund in full.

CONFIDENTIALITY

What you tell us in the course of an engagement stays between us, except where the law requires otherwise.

WHAT ADVICE IS AND IS NOT

We give considered professional counsel. We are not your lawyers, auditors or licensed financial advisers, and our advice does not replace theirs.

YOUR ACCOUNT

Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
